Oprah Winfrey delivered a commencement speech to more than 600 undergraduate students from her alma mater, Tennessee State University, on Saturday, May 6. Winfrey, who received her degree from Tennessee State University in 1988, emphasized to students the importance of trusting their own intuition. “I know not what the future holds, but I know who holds the future,” Winfrey told the crowd. “You’ll begin to know your own heart and figure out what matters most when you can listen to the still, small voice," Winfrey said.
