The C63 AMG is reportedly the first AMG-Mercedes designed from the ground up. It's AMG C-Class predecessors had essentially featured bolt-on performance modifications, with these earlier AMG models suffered from "relentless understeer" and "heavy steering." In 2008 the W204 chassis redefined the AMG line by designing a luxury performance machine that gave the competition a run for their money.
