I've successfully designed and assembled the control unit, completing the wiring for both mains electrics and microelectronics. The CNC Router Electrical Control Box is now ready for testing. In sharing my project with you, I focused on optimizing the placement of components and wiring for efficiency. My main objective was to integrate a mini PC, like an Intel NUC, inside the enclosure. This allows me to run the Mach3 software through the Mach3 breakout board and remotely access it using software such as VNC server, eliminating the need for a keyboard, mouse, and screen to control the system. The setup includes 4 CL57T Closed Loop NEMA 23 drivers, a 36V 800W Power Supply, a 24V Power supply, an Intel NUC, Mach 3 Breakout board, VFD, mains fuses, switches, emergency stop, and all associated wiring with quick disconnect aviation connectors.
