In the Masters of the Air episode 7, the 100th bomb group took heavy losses during the March 6th 1944 Mission to Berlin. More 8th US army air forces bombers were lost on this mission than on any other mission during the war. The events characterized by the series will be fact checked for accuracy. Some of the issues found are nit-picky some are major.
