New Jersey's warehouses are among the most important parts of New Jersey's economy, bringing revenue and jobs to the communities where they're built. However, as the demand for warehouse space grows in the state, some communities are voicing their opposition to the expansion. Rhonda Schaffler sits down with NJ Spotlight News contributor Jon Hurdle to discuss his extensive reporting on warehouse sprawl, including why some communities are welcoming warehouses while others are trying to stop them from being built. Hurdle also explains how opponents want the state to step in to give neighboring communities a voice when warehouses are built nearby.
