I do enjoy having a lunch out in the Land Rover while operating ham radio. I do not have a mobile HF radio set up in the vehicle as I never leave radios in there and setting up a permanent HF antenna on the Land Rover Discovery 2 requires a lot of bonding and messing about which I can't be bothered to do compared to having choices with portable antenna configurations. So I like to quickly deploy an antenna like this one that gets me on 40m, 20m and 17m.
