Extinguishing fires in electric vehicles (EVs) and lithium-ion batteries is a debated topic and is more relevant than ever as the number of EVs has increased considerably in recent years. There are many questions about safety for the firefighter and the public, risks, environmental impact and how to extinguish the fire without using loads of water.
