This video showcases the audio and visual media that was created from scratch for the "2 Marys" theatrical show (Perth Fringe World 2022). The 2 Marys show was a masquerade of storytelling, music and gothic romance... based on a true story featuring Frankenstein creator Mary Shelley and her friend, the writer, Mary Diana Dods.

The AV was developed during Chris Horgan and Suzanne Ingelbrecht during an "Artist in Residence" programme at the Midland Junction Arts Centre. We used shadow theatre/puppetry techniques along with reflected light, digital editing and post production.

The backdrop video that was produced was then projected onto a black wall during a live performance. The production used video projection as opposed to traditional physical set building. This allows the show to be performed with a minimal crew - and in simple bare venues.
