The Giant Panda's natural habitat is only a few mountain ranges in central China. The species had been considered "endangered" for many years. In 1976 there were only around 1,000 Giant Pandas left in the wild due to poaching and deforestation. Since then, there's been a big push to save the species - more than 60 Panda reserves were established in China. We hope this video raises awareness about the ginormous success of panda preservation in China!
