In my search for the perfect company vehicle, I've tested a range of all-electric SUVs and vans:

Audi e-tron:    • Audi e-tron rijtest  
Mercedes EQC 400:    • Mercedes EQC 400 rijtest  
Jaguar I-Pace:    • Jaguar I-Pace rijtest  

At the time, that didn't really turn out to be a good solution for me, due to the long and unforeseen trips I need to be able to make during filming days (video production at theblackbox.org).

Time for 'the next best thing' then, time to test some plugin hybrids!

The first plugin hybrid is also a diesel hybrid, the Mercedes GLE 350 de. And the last 'de' in the name is the type designation.
