The last year or so of my life has been the most challenging and it has taken such a heavy toll that some days I can barely be present. But every now and then, I am blessed with a story that takes me away from my issues long enough to edit and in doing so, allows my mind to be free. This story was incredible and unexpected. Seeing the origins of Steven through Marc and understanding the nature of the mind and what it will do to avoid pain, was something I immediately identified within my own struggles. His character suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder out of a necessity to run from the trauma of his life. The exact moment this show grabbed me was when I saw Khonshu and Steven turn back the stars in time. I was blown away at the beauty of that scene. Not just the visual aspect but the meaning behind Steven being the one to do it. I knew I had to create something for it to try and capture the feeling I experienced. Hopefully, I was able to convey that in this edit. Do hope you enjoy and are able to escape the worries that come with life, for even just a moment, while watching this video.
