My first time making a quiz like this so hopefully it’s challenging but not too hard? I know some of them end up easy cause of the surrounding audio giving hints but with 47 songs there’s room for SOME easy ones. If I’ve made a mistake somewhere, or if you have feedback of any given feel free to comment.
I went through and made a table of words/phrases that appeared in multiple songs then picked one unique word/phrase for each song to guess. There are 5 answers that aren’t exact phrases but if you’re nit-picky like me you can read below to see why I think they still fit the quiz. Anyway, hope you enjoy if you watch it! I got into Hamilton years late so hopefully other people still love it.
SPOILERS FOR QUIZ ANSWERS BELOW
Right hand man: Dying is easy young man, living is harder.
Cabinet Battle #1: Winning was easy young man, governing’s harder.
Songs with ‘How does....’: Alexander Hamilton, A Winter’s Ball, Guns and Ships, What’d I miss, The Adams Administration, Your Obedient Servant.
Right Hand Man: We are OUTgunned, OUTmanned, OUTnumbered, OUTplanned
Stay Alive: OUTrun, OUTrun, OUTlast, OUTlast
Farmer Refuted: For the Revolution
The story of tonight, Satisfied: To the Revolution
You’ll be back: Remember that we made an arrangement when you went away
What comes next? : I thought that we made an arrangement when you went away
There’s also 2 others that technically aren’t the same but that’s just because I added 1 extra line to make it less challenging.
What comes next: All alone, across the sea
I know him: All alone, watch them run
He says ‘All alone’ so similarly both times that it seemed too demanding to guess just based on that.
The story of tonight: Raise a glass to the four of us, tomorrow there’ll be more of us
The story of tonight reprise: Raise a glass to the four of us, to the newly not poor of us
Again same person says the same line, so added the 2nd half to make it more doable.
