Ameloblastoma, a rare tumour that forms in the jaw, often near the molars, can be challenging to treat due to its aggressive nature. This condition demands precise surgical intervention to remove the tumour and restore function. In 2021, I, Kabir Sambo, a 61-year-old from Nigeria, was diagnosed with this condition. The local medical evaluations suggested that the best recourse was treatment abroad, leading me to Dr Vidya Bhusan R, Consultant at Narayana Health City, Bengaluru, India.

My medical journey began in February 2021 when I was diagnosed with ameloblastoma back home in Nigeria.
