Modern society has long depended on fossil-based resources to provide for global needs, including electricity production, agriculture, and transportation. We need to design, develop, engineer, and scale new technologies that can provide for important societal needs with sustainability at the forefront. Professor Thomas Jaramillo will discuss the opportunities in this space and share early-stage technology developments at Stanford and at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.
