Gambit is a really popular character in the X-Man comic franchise. He’s taken the center stage in a number of storylines and even has a few solo series dedicated to his exploits. A movie featuring the character would probably make a decent amount of money for the studio and be a great experience for viewers.

Too bad it’s never going to happen.
