Looks like this Paslode has never seen a service going by the inside of it.
The squealing you hear at the beginning is the motor, this has worn out and failed.
The mounts and brass bushes inside are not slack and causing it to have excessive play.
I am always surprised now at how long modern paslode guns last.
They will still outlast most other nailers if looked after correctly, but they don't last anywhere near the amount of time the old guns did.
Motors especially, seem to only last a few years now with regulate use. Where as the older models motor would normally last for the lifespan of the gun.
