Jerome suffered a massive double stroke and people were trying to take his dog Karl, the Rottweiler, away from him. "How will you handle a large dog like Karl after a stroke?" Well, lucky for Jerome and Karl, eCollars are a highly effective tool that allows us to train, control and communicate with our dogs even if our strength and mobility is limited.

Let's face it, electric collars get a bad rap. People are told they are cruel and inhumane. The truth is they can be used to hurt dogs, just like almost EVERYTHING can... it's up to us to learn to use the tool fairly and effectively to train dogs and give them the skills to survive.

In this video I am using a special adaptor on the ecollar that makes it more effective and humane. Check out the link to the adaptor here:

This is the best way to use the ecollar because it assures perfect contact and that prevents your dog from receiving an improper correction. You'll see in this video how effectively Karl learns the skills that will keep him in Jerome's home and out of the shelter. Karl came from the shelter and Jerome swore he would never put him back there. As a dog trainer it's my obligation to make sure Jerome can live up to that promise.
