Intamin Amuesment Rides may not be the oldest Roller Coaster manufacturer out there, but their evolution over time is perhaps the most fascinating of any company. Starting out with a small collection of children and family coasters, they would evolve to build some large wooden coasters, bobsled coasters, and stand up coasters, before pioneering a new launch technology. This would propel them into their new identity, building large scale launched coasters of many sizes including a few worlds tallest, mega coasters which would attempt elements never seen before, and inverting coasters with more inversions than anyone had ever seen before. This is all on top of a new generation of wooden coaster technology, many shuttle coaster evolutions, and a large series of dynamic special effects coasters. This video chronicles their full roller coaster history up to August 2023, over 180 different coasters, and nearly all breaking ground in its own way.
