💎Driving through the most beautiful roads: The Transfagarasan is a spectacular twisting road through the Carpathian Mountains in Romania, and thanks to Top Gear, is one of Romania’s most popular destinations. This spectacular mountain pass, Romania’s second-highest paved mountain route, is a real treat for drivers as it passes dramatic forested mountains, alpine lakes, and historic castles, connecting north with south. It’s no surprise that Jeremy Clarkson (the famous Top Gear presenter) pronounced it “the best road in the world.” 🚘🏔️

💎This road trip takes place on the Northern side of Transfagarasan Highway close to Fagaraş Mountain top and Cartişoara. That part of the winding road is famous for its' breathtaking mountain peak views, Balea Lake and lots of thrilling hairpin turns. There is poor visibility after reaching to the mountain top due to heavy rain and fog. Still, there are many picturesque views during my driving tour. Drivers of this route mainly consist of tourists, bikers, and adventurers. Because Transfagarasan is meant for only scenic driving, not going somewhere... 🐴🌳
