A Muslim child needs to know their identity: Who am I? Why am I here? BUT FIRST, as a parent, I need to know: Who am I? Why am I here? What does Allah (ﷻ) expect from me? What will He (ﷻ) ask me about?

If we as parents have the answers to these questions, we can then translate them into day to day interactions with our children (Dr. Sh. Haifaa Younis)
