Bug infestation can be a horrific experience if gone unnoticed. Your sweet home will become a comfortable breeding ground for insects. Deadly or not, a swarm of insects is not something anyone looks forward to. There are times when the situation got so out of control that it made the headlines. Here are the worst bug-infested houses and properties that will surprise you.
1. Car wasp nest
Bee wrangler Jude Verret had been dealing with the tiny winged creature for a long time. But he was not ready for what he saw one day. He got a call from someone, and when he reached their yard, he saw a sedan swarming with yellow jacket wasps. The insects have turned the car into a nest. Stinger creation, Verret's company had to get rid of one of the worst infestations they have ever seen. Verrets team, heavy suits, and helmets saved the day. Thankfully nobody got stung during the process.
2. Horrific Bed Bug Infested
Most of us are no stranger to a bit of pest infestation like some cockroaches and mice. Usually, calling pest control takes care of the situation. That said, sometimes, a bedbug infestation can turn into a nightmare. Take a look at the video of one of the worst bug-infested houses you'll ever see. The nasty bug infected this home so badly that they had to leave the whole house. The amazing fact is that pest control managed to control the worst bed bug infestation in history.
3. Britain's pub wasp giant nest
A 6ft by 5ft wasp nest is the last thing one wants to see, especially when they visit a pub to have a good time. The visitors of a Southampton pub weren’t as lucky. That huge nest was in the attic of the pub with 500,000 wasps that called the nest home sweet home. The pub saw one of the worst bug invasions in history. Pest controller Sean Whelan was able to get rid of the insects, but the nest was just too big to remove from the attic. According to Oxford University, this is the biggest wasp nest.
4. Bee whisperer
Bee whisperer, David Glover from Germantown, Tennessee, had a busy day when he received a call from a scary bug-infested house. When he reached the house, he saw a huge hive spread across the inside and outside the wall. It took him over 4 hours to clear the hive. The youtube video Glover posted attracted a lot of attention. He has been a professional for two years and says it was one of the largest single pieces of combs he had ever seen.

5. Termite Nest
Among all the bugs that can infest your home, termites might be the worst. These tiny insects cause a whopping 1.5 Billion dollars worth of damage every year. A big colony can cause major structural damage. They are distant relatives of cockroaches and reproduce in a similar fashion. What sets them apart except their size is that termites love eating wood ar significantly harder to get rid of.
One prime example of how devastating a termite attack can be is what happened to Brazil.
6. Huge Lady Bugs nest
Lady Bugs are one of the prettiest insects there are. But that doesn't mean they can't be irritating or dangerous. In fact, the worst bug infestations in the U.S.A has ever seen is caused by the Asian lady beetle. They were used as a natural defense against soft-bodied crop-destroying insects. Ladybugs usually hibernate during the winter inside their caves. See this red tree? If you look closely, you'll see that the red colour is coming from huge ladybugs chilling on the tree. This may look scary, but an occasional ladybug is nothing to worry about. They just make your garden more vibrant.
7. Cockroach swarm
One of the most popular nightmares is being attacked by cockroaches. For people living in china, that nightmare can turn into a reality at any minute. Near Jinan, a project facility at Zhangqiubei is the worst bug-infested home on our list. This is a cockroach farm housing a billion cockroaches in a moat of hungry fish. This may seem insane to have a roach farm, but according to the Chinese company 'Good Doctor', these make great medicine. They grind the insects up and use them as animal feed. There are almost 100 of these farms across China. While the rest of the world is trying to get rid of these hellish-looking tiny creatures, Chinese cockroach farmers are making good money by selling them. Next time you see the cockroach around the house, you may consider selling it instead of crushing it.
