This is a quick video to demonstrate how to use the new XTOOL IP819 bidirectional scan tool to recalibrate the passenger seat weight sensor with the Occupant Classification System Module (OCSM). The OCSM and sensor can get out of calibration and the only way to fix this condition is to recalibrate the system using a scan tool. This is especially important if:
-you swap seats from another car or
-your car is incorrectly telling you to buckle the front passenger seat belt when no one is in that seat
The vehicle in the video is a 2012 Mustang GT but the principle is the same for most vehicles.
