What an adventure! We decided to go all the way up to Michigan and do some camping along the shores of Lake Superior. The weather just barely cooperated with us, making for much less actual hunting time than we expected....but we made the best of what we had and still had a great time with plenty of memories. Our primary objective (besides having fun and sharing it with all of you!) was to find a fluorescent form of sodalite nicknamed yooperlites. These stones glow an extremely vibrant orange color when hit by a specific type of UV flashlight at night. We did manage to find some of my best ever specimens of these which made the trip a huge success, despite the weather.

Hit that thumbs up button if you enjoyed this video!
