The Winchester 1907 was one of the most unusual rifles to see service during World War 1 as it had many features more commonly associated with more modern firearms: swappable external box magazines, a semi-automatic (and perhaps even fully automatic) rate of fire and an intermediate power cartridge making it quite easy to fire rapidly.

In this video we're going to go back in time a bit and imagine how the Winchester 1907 might have been used in World War 1 had the US needed to come up with its own "Stormtroops" in this special historic "trench load-out" episode of The Backyard Battlefield - inspired by Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V!
