In today’s increasingly polarized political environment, it’s clear that we need to restore faith in our institutions. That starts with how we choose our leaders. Ranked-choice voting gives voters more choice in elections and incentivizes candidates to prioritize the issues that matter to the broadest swathe of the electorate. Adopting it in local, state, and federal elections can make government more responsive to voters’ needs and improve civic engagement.
