Love what you do. That’s a phrase we hear often, and it’s something Hydro Field Foreman Michael MacDonald and Hydro Field Technician Casey Steel truly get to experience in their jobs at SMUD. As part of our Hydrogeneration team, Michael and Casey operate a snowcat, which helps provide them with safe transportation to and from our Upper American River Project (UARP) assets in the backcountry. When we have winters like the one we just had with record levels of snowfall, having a snowcat to get around is crucial.
