The story has not been reimagined; it has been refreshed for a new generation. Larissa Fasthorse (additional book) said It was important any child in the audience could look out their window and think Peter Pan could fly by. The characters of Wendy and Tiger Lily have more of a focus and have voices in this production. For the tribe, each one is the last member of an extinct culture. They go to Neverland to preserve their culture until they can find a way back to the real world.
