Today we look at PEX installation tools, the types of fittings, and pipe used in the PEX style of plumbing system. I show how the different types of crimp rings are installed and some of the pros and cons of each type. I also show how simple it is to remove fittings in both the PEX and Shark Bite styles of fittings for reuse and give some advice on the type of pipe to use.
