In this video I will be showing you just how simple a Vacuum Fluorescent Display ( VFD ) is to use. These things used to confuse me but they are actually really cool. I will show you the parts, how to wire them, and what they do as well as another creative use for VFDs as a Triode vacuum tube. In addition I will also show you how I thought these might of worked and how that lead me to think these where more tricky then they actually are. I hope this helps and that you enjoy!
