This is Harpy, one of my three female Kukulcania hibernalis. She lives freely on a shelf in her nice cuckoo clock (kukul clock? lol) next to a few very old books that I don't read. She is free, yes, but she doesn't escape because she has no reason to, she loves that little house she has

My other kukuls are Kraken and Vampire, also with names based on mythological creatures. Harpy is called like this because she would be the bird of the cuckoo clock, Kraken is called like that because she has a big boat sailing in her own sea of web, and Vampire because she really disliked light to the point that she wouldn't even eat, which is something that I worked to fix and now she lives calmly not stressing out about light. I love them all but Harpy has all my love and praise because of her personality
