Apricale is a village in the province of Imperia in Liguria, with a population of around 620, and is about a 50-minute drive from the nearby town of Sanremo.

We visited Apricale after Bajardo, which we featured in our previous video.

The village is a maze of streets and we got lost a few times until we reached the church at the top. There were lots of paintings on the walls of the village streets and it was fun to walk around looking at them.
The village itself isn't very big, but there are lots of narrow streets that are like escape routes, and there are lots of stairs, so we did a lot of walking, and it felt like we'd been in a very big village.

I enjoyed walking around small Italian villages and I'd like to visit other Italian villages in 2024.
