Honda's pure hybrid offering hasn't had the best luck with American shoppers. Although they were first to market a mass production hybrid in the states, the first and second generation Insight never really won over eco minded buyers. For 2019, Honda is trying a third time with a new premium sedan with styling that will offend very little consumers and the promise of up to 55 MPG. The 2019 Insight is also more powerful then its competition, but only time will tell if American shoppers will ditch their crossover for very stylish new hybrid sedan. It goes on sale on June 29th, 2018.
