Flying the turbine powered R66 helicopter out of Denham airfield, over north London at night. Filmed with Garmin Virb XE, with overlays of heading, speed and altitude presented. The helicopter initially heads into the London control zone, via H9 and H5 to the VRP 'Iver' with the intention of crossing over Heathrow airport, however, due to busy conditions, ATC declined this request, so a further routing was attempted via the northern boundary of the controlled airspace, to go into the Heli routes via the Olympic Park, near London City Airport, to the east of London.
Unfortunately, this was also declined due to busy traffic conditions, so the helicopter returns to Denham airfield.
