Aadi Himani Chamunda Temple Trek I Palampur I Kangra I Himachal Pradesh
Aadi Himani Chamunda Trek is one of the most breathtaking treks in Himachal Pradesh. Aadi Himani Chamunda Temple is the most famous attraction of trekking. There are two routes that you can choose for the trek. If you really want to see gorgeous natural scenery, you can opt for the route from Jia village. This route is also very popular among the devotees and the distance of the temple from here is 9 kilometers.
The second route here goes through Jadrangal, from Dharamshala-Palampur State Highway which is often adopted by pilgrims. The temple can also be reached from here after a long trek of about 8.5 kilometers from the last motorable road at Kardiana village.

According to the local people, Shri Chamunda Devi had killed two demons Chand and Munda by throwing huge stones at them from the top of the mountain, and it is believed that one stone can still be seen above the Shiva temple, located close to the per-existing Chamunda Devi temple along the Dharamshala - Palampur state highway.

Although it is very difficult to reach here by trekking but still you must try to come here once. After visiting the temple, the curiosity of seeing the beautiful views of Nature and Dhualadhar mountains will compel you to visit here again.
