I have three issues with GoPro 8 action cameras. First, the new camera has flimsy feet. Second, while it does take old batteries, inserting anything other than a new GoPro Hero 8 Black battery launches an alarming warning message. Finally, there's no lens cover on the new camera. Before you buy everyone in your household a new GoPro 8 for the Holidays, be aware of these issues.
