At DU Lit. Fest sponsored by Sarayu Trust, Anisha Kaul talks about her recent Book 'They Have a Name for It' in discussion with Aditya Raj Kaul, a well-known journalist. She is a Kashmiri Pandit who grew up in Delhi, away from her homeland. As a third generation in exile, her book is her contribution to the literature on Kashmiris in Exile, her pain is evident through her poems. The discussion between her and Aditya Raj Kaul raises many questions regarding the justice that is still not delivered to ease the pain of Kashmiri pandits who have been living in Exile for many years and highlights the transgenerational trauma of the community due to reluctance to accept the Kashmiri Hindu Genocide by academia, intelligentsia, media and even the Govt.

About the speaker:
Anisha Kaul is a poet and a PhD Research Scholar at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India. An avid reader since young age and with a Masters in English Literature she found Poems a medium to pour her pain and express herself. As of now 40 of her poems have been accepted or are housed in various national and international print and online anthologies. She served in the capacity of the editor for DRC, College Magazine Pramila, University of Delhi, 2016-17 issue.
Aditya Raj Kaul is the Founder of Roots in Kashmir which was a worldwide youth initiative of Kashmiri Pandit minorities living in forced exile due to terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir.
