Stocks sold off again as war tensions weighed on the market later in the day leaving investors once again worried about conflict coming into the next trading day. Although the morning started off as De-escalatory, Israel vowed to attack back and news of this sent stocks spiraling and gold back to its highs. Oil stocks also responded but were not as active as last week. This all went down with backdrop of earnings and now moving forward, we should see the market go back and forth between war tensions & stock earnings. There isn't much data this week that should move us, but after these recent moves & news, the option market is pricing in 1.5% for the week, which is as big as last weeks CPI move. After this brief market recap and stock analysis, I go over my portfolio and 3 stocks for tomorrow. I go over RTX stock & LMT stock and explain what I would be looking for in defense stocks and how to trade the war trade. Then I go over MPW stock and the news today that made it outperform every REIT in the market. Finally, I go over INTC stock and explain how it relates to the catalysts this week.
