This 1970 Bumpside Ford F250 Highboy was gifted to me by my Father-in-Law. That's correct, it was FREE! Hence the Low-Buck Ford Highboy title. All I had to do was rescue it from it's grave. It was parked in the woods and neglected for 12 years until I revived it. The cab had some rust, and the all the running gear needs to be refreshed, so I didn't want to dump a bunch of money into it. I decided to get it running and driving as cheaply and budget friendly as possible. Hence, the Low-Buck Highboy title. It took several weeks, and $1600, but I had an almost legal, running and driving Ford Highboy. And that $1600 included a ton of new parts! The truck received a new: clutch, battery, alternator, voltage regulator, starter, belts, hoses, spark plugs, points, condenser, coil, master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders, and brand new Cooper STT Pro 285/75R16 tires.

It's not a daily driver yet, but it's a great start! What's next? Turbo...Fresh old body???
