Milton Keynes - home video from around 1991

Visiting and shopping in Milton Keynes and "up the City"

The video starts with driving down the A5 south, to the Old Stratford roundabout - on that section of the A5 there were once three lanes, now only two!

Then we travel past the now forgotten cafe(?)/lady that lived there, in the layby and on down the A5 dual carriage way to the junction where there is now McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Burger King drive thru's!

Many things have changed and MK has most definitely grown!

The market shown is the famous Thursday "flea" market, which used to be the second hand item stalls. Muchly missed as was a great way to find bargains.

For the car geeks, the car we are travelling in was an Austin Maestro 1.3l :-)
