The e:HEV system has as one of its highlights the highly efficient 2.0 DOHC 16V four-cylinder combustion engine with Atkinson cycle and direct gasoline injection. It has 147 hp of maximum power and 19.4 kgfm of maximum torque.
This combustion engine is associated with the e-CVT, a set that houses the two electric motors: one intended for propulsion and the other that acts as a generator.
The maximum power of the electric traction motor is 184 hp, with a maximum torque of 34.2 kgfm.
The e:HEV system has three operating modes: EV Drive (100% electric), Hybrid Drive (electric and combustion) and Engine Drive (combustion only).
