A blistering opening 15 minutes by the Boatmen saw us race into a 3 nil lead and go on to win emphatically. On 3 mins, Dan Mason linked up well with Stu Green to drill home, then on 7 mins, Sami Makhloufi showed more clinical finishing, firing low inside the near post from 18 yards. We then were treated to two brilliant goals by Owen Roundell. On 15 mins, a cleareance dropped to him 25 yards out & he blasted it in via the underside of the bar! Then on 41 mins, Owzie arrived in the box to hit a left foot volley into the top corner to put us 4 up at half time. Lymington got 2 goals back after the break to make it interesting, but Dan Mason doubled his account on 65 mins from close range to kill off any outside chances of a home side comeback as Sholing move back up to 4th in an increasingly tight top of the table
