The narcissist’s false self is the mask, it's an act, it's a fictitious character that they have created themselves as. 🎭

Knowing what to expect is crucial – that’s why we need to have a look at what's under the mask to understand what it is and why they're wearing it.

What you’ll find when the mask inevitably begins to slip, is someone who's very angry, easily triggered, very, very insecure and pathologically envious of anybody else who's getting the good stuff or getting attention or getting what they want.
