A Haunting in Venice is a mystery thriller film directed by Kenneth Branagh (Thor) from a screenplay written by Michael Green (Murder on the Orient Express), based on the 1969 Agatha Christie novel Hallowe'en Party. Featuring Branagh, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Michelle Yeoh; it is a sequel to Death on the Nile (2022) and the third film in Branagh's Hercule Poirot series. The story follows a retired Poirot living in Venice. After being invited to a séance by an old friend, the disillusioned detective must use all of his investigative skills when the medium turns up dead.
