Just 70 miles north of Atlanta, Ellijay is a hidden jewel nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We'll tour local offerings of the town and region including world-famous apple orchards, award-wining wineries and of course, breathtaking outdoor recreation. We will also explore Ellijay's past including the native American Cherokee and Creek tribes, and historical figures including Chief Whitepath, Walkingstick, Andrew Jackson and a visit from Prince Madoc in 1170.
