Walking through famous spots in Harajuku on a busy Saturday. Takeshita street is filled with cute shops and even more people wanting to shop at them. You can also find lots of cute street food here. Omotesando has streets of high class, expensive shops. It has eye grabbing features like the mirror design at Tokyu plaza, and the new place with a rooftop garden I hadn't seen before. Meiji Shrine is one of the most famous in Tokyo, if not Japan. The giant Torii gates are amazing, and the trees grow tall and green all year. Yoyogi park connects Harajuku and Shibuya, and is a great place to see seasonal nature. Lots of people come here for picnics, or to practice many hobbies like dance, music, sports, painting, and more.

I add sound effects & soundscapes to some of my timelapses, but leave some as just chill bgm. For this one it felt like fitting a soundscape to the 4 different portions would feel a bit much. Since I imagine these videos as background entertainment, I don't want them to be too distracting or overwhelming. So just music for this one! 3 different tracks to match the kawaii / kawaii city / nature vibes though. Shrine and park could have different nature music like traditional Japanese vs playful, but I found a long nature song I could use for both and decided to just keep it cohesive. Especially since the nature half ended up taking longer to walk through than the city half, so it can round off the video better this way I think.
