I know! I couldn't believe it myself when I read the title, and that's really stupid because I not only wrote it, but am also the subject of it. Anyway, Hilda's working again.

Was the water pump the issue?
Perhaps it was two faulty thermostats in a row!
Perhaps Waterless coolant is the devil? (It's not, btw - I regret removing it)
Perhaps the engine's wrong, or right? Or rubbish? Or good?

I dunno, I'm just trying to pre-empt the comments.
