The 2021 Jaguar XF may technically be a 'facelift', but a new interior and revamped engines means it's now a real rival to the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and Mercedes E-Class.

We're not just talking about a light upgrade, either. The diesel engine line-up is now available with mild hybrid technology to eke out even more fuel and, ultimately, do its part to save the planet. But the big upgrade here is the new interior, which brings the XF up to the standard of its German rivals. It's also great to drive and at £38,000 it's actually a bit of a bargain. So is now the time to pick up a new Jaguar XF?
