Henry was the beginning. He symbolized the beginning of our marriage. He was synonymous with our first home. He grew as we grew. He barked as we laughed, and cried as we ate. He protected the neighborhood. We couldn't ride the quad without him. He hiked all over with us. He stayed loyal to his mama. He ate all the table scraps with his daddy. He slept with his mama, He had crooked toofers, and was afraid of his own farts. He would cower if he was yelled at, but would murder if you took his bone away. He served us genuinely for 13 years. He was the Henny Pen! Our Lover Boy, The Good Boy Bia Bia, Elizabeth, Yum Dum Pyim Pyim Cho, Post Office MailBox, and a whole lot of other weird pillow talk names. He filled our hearts with joy. He made our home a home, and now he is gone. Rest easy good boy.

Karen is the opposite of Henry. Henry was a white male puggle. Karen is a black female puggle. Karen is quite spunky in her young age. She is braver than Henry was. She is much less interested in food like Henry was. She is an athlete that can run and jump with awe. (for her size) We hope she too will fill our hearts for a long time coming.
