The AFL has been forced to admit some players are being kept off the field when they test positive to illicit drugs.
It has made the admission after federal MP Andrew Wilkie used parliamentary privilege to accuse the League of a cover-up and fraud.
But the AFL is unapologetic about its secretive testing regime, saying it's protecting the health and confidentiality of its players.
