Rhythm Rastogi is an 18 year old high school graduate from Vadodara, Gujarat. Since the past four years she has been working in the field of menstrual hygiene awareness for young girls and women and has been coined as the 'Padgirl of Vadodara' for her efforts in spreading knowledge to over 300 females of the city. She has been recognised by various media channels, news outlets and celebrities for her work. Rhythm aims to dissipate the stigmas surrounding menstruation and propogate it as a healthy and normal process. Rhythm Rastogi is an 18 year old high school graduate from Vadodara, Gujarat. Rhythm aims to dissipate the stigmas surrounding menstruation and propagate it as a healthy and normal process. The idea is to talk about menstruation as a normal process rather than burdening it with stigmas and taboos. I'd redefine the myths and source Indian beliefs and discuss solutions or common things young students don't know. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
